Our products are used international for the correct, controlled and documented tightening of fasteners including safety critical applications. Our customers include well-known airlines, specialists in wind energy, industrial operations and the automotive industry – we have been meeting and exceeding the requirements of industrial customers for more than 150 years.

General Sales Manager (m/f/d)

Tasks / Responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility for the P&L of the subsidiary, including
    • Sales
    • Margin
    • Cost
  • Manage, organize and develop the sales network in Italy
  • Manage the sales team consisting of direct employees and sales agents
  • Direct responsibility for selected large customers / key customers
  • Develop further sales channels and open new opportunities both with distributors and end-users
  • Constant development of existing customers, new customers
  • Manage and organize the operations in the subsidiary:
    • Internal Sales: Inquiries, offers and quotations, orders, deliveries
    • Administration: Accounting and regular reporting
    • Warehouse: Supply chain from order to delivery including the management of inventory
    • Controlling of the organization within the given limits and budgets
  • Coordination of the local marketing activities which are performed by external partners
  • Organization of local promotion activities
  • Organization of local trade shows and customer events

Your profile:

  • Bachelor/Master in Business Administration with strong emphasis in Sales
  • Experience in sales management / general management min. 5 years
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and behavior, high level of self-motivation and organization, hands-on attitude
  • Capability to manage sales teams and lead it to the next level
  • Experience in building the link between the local subsidiary and HQ
  • Language: Fluent business English, German language as a plus
  • Excellent team leader, high communication skills
  • Ready for constant development and change in a challenging competitive environment
  • Knowledge of the hardware/tools market in Italy
  • Good Knowledge of IT tools (Navision, Microsoft Office)
